The Go Get Out tour, in collaboration with the New York's Nature Conservancy, is a free form interactive experience, letting Governors Island’s visitors get a deeper look at the landscape, plants and animals that make the island their home.
The site worked in connection with a variety of large signs now scattered throughout the island, offering a jumping off point for facts about the island's unique nature, like its 7,000 trees, oyster habitat and scores of birds.
